1.  How do I access my blog?

You can access your standard blog via the Internet address you chose
(http://your-name.magix.net/blog).

2.  I can't access my blog. Why not?

One of the most common reasons for this is an error when typing in the address. Please make sure that you type it in correctly. It may also be the case that maintenance work needs to be undertaken which may result in the site being unavailable for a time. If this is the case, a message will appear.

If you have entered the address correctly and still can't see your site, please contact our Support team at http://support.magix.net.

3.

How do I change my blog design?

Simply log in to www.magix-blog.com and click on the "Select template" button of the corresponding blog. You can now choose from a large selection of templates. With the page list advanced settings you can specify the appearance and the functionality of the blog page list. Under the point "Manage extras" you can activate and deactivate specific extras features and change their order.

4.  I have selected an animated template, but nothing happens.

Make sure that you have the latest version of the Adobe Flash Player (www.adobe.com) installed.

5.  What does assigning keywords mean?

Keywords describe the content of a post. You can enter multiple keywords for a single post. By using keywords, blog readers will be able to find posts on specific topics more easily.

Tip: If your blog is "public", all new posts are listed on the homepage of the MAGIX Blog Service and made known to blog search engines. This setting can be changed at any time under "Blog configuration" of the corresponding blog. To do so, simply log in to www.magix-blog.com.

6.  What can I do when my memory is full?

All media files that you use in the Blog Service are managed in the memory of the MAGIX Online Album. If you do not yet have a MAGIX Online Album, you can get a free album with 500 MB of memory upon registering for the Blog Service. If you want more memory, you can always switch to the inexpensive Classic Album (2000 MB) or the Premium Album (5000 MB). To do so, click on the "More memory" button in the Blog Control Center.

7.  Can I create multiple blogs on my account?

Yes, you can create up to five different blogs on one account. Simply go to the "What do you want to do?" section of your Blog Control Center and click on "Create new blog".

8.  Can multiple authors write on my blog?

Yes, you can invite up to ten authors to contribute to your blog. Each author can be granted certain permissions. There's a difference between Editor and Editor-in-Chief. The posts of an Editor have to be approved by the blog owner first. For posts by the Editor-in-Chief, however, approval is not required. Of course, you can change the permissions of authors at any time.
